Following recent EU regulation changes concerning authorised products  in organic farming, now Prosol’s I-care can be used in feed for organic production.

Prosol is pleased to announce that now its innovative I-CARE can be used in EU organic production.

As a result of recent changes of the regulations related to products authorised in organic farming, yeasts allowed in organic production has been enlarged and include Kluyveromyces fragilis, the selected strain that characterizes I-CARE.

Organic farming is a fast growing market in EU, this is a direct result of increased consumer interest in organic products. In response to the challenges posed by this rapid expansion, the EU passed this new legislation, including a greater range of products.

Prosol supports stakeholders supplying the organic market I-CARE, an efficient zootechnical ingredient that improves animal welfare and health by reducing the use of antibiotics.
